Pieces of U.S. History and Cherokee Nation History live in our family

Pieces of U.S. History and Cherokee Nation History live in our family

After we were satisfied with the 5 blends that would launch Aromas, we had to come up with names.  There are hundreds and hundreds of names for tea blends and many of them are shared between major brands.  Our business is niche; therefore, our blends and their names required originality.  In comes the picture of that man you saw on our home page who is our great great grandfather  Isaac "Ike" Rogers.

He was born enslaved in the Cherokee Nation, a Civil War Veteran, and U.S. Deputy Marshal.  Records and accounts of his life can be found in articles, discussions and books.  The most accurate and up-to-date information can be found on the website of our family historian Nicka Sewell-Smith: www.whoisnickasmith.com

We took a few of those accounts and shared them with our collection of tea blends better known as The Bl^k Series.
